A Journey Ignited by Innovations
The journey of Vatsaa Group is deeply rooted in the visionary pursuits of its founder, Ajay Thomas. From his school days, Ajay harbored a dream of creating a floating power plant technology, a passion he actively pursued during college. Realizing the substantial funding required for this ambitious project, he established the first venture, Vatsaa Real Estates, with "VATSAA" creatively formed from the first letters of his family members' names. This was followed by diversification into Vatsaa Food Products and Vatsaa Electricals. The latter underwent several transformations, evolving into Vatsaa Tech and eventually being renamed to Vatsaa Energy Pvt Ltd. Through dedicated research and development, Vatsaa Energy achieved a landmark in 2015: the creation of the world's first ferrocement-based floating power plant at the Banasura Sagar reservoir in Wayanad, with crucial funding from KSEB. This success propelled Vatsaa Energy to become a leading consulting firm in the energy sector. Gradually business interests of the team expanded and investments were made across diverse industries.
